Belinda Carlisle Wishes Husband Morgan Mason a Happy 37th Wedding Anniversary

Belinda Carlisle celebrates another year in love with her husband. They have been married for almost forty years, and she said the key to their long marriage is time apart.

Singer Belinda Carlisle posted a beautiful throwback photo of her wedding day as she celebrated her 37th anniversary. The singer is famed for leading the highly successful female rock band, The Go-Gos.

Belinda's post shows her sharing an intimate smooch with her husband. She was dressed in white while her husband, wearing a grey suit jacket, held onto a beautiful bouquet.

The singer wrote in the caption, "37 years ago today…. Happy Anniversary @morganmason1955- over half my life… I know how lucky I am," and continued after a series of heart and flowers emojis, "Here's to 37 more."

Carlisle tagged her husband in the photo caption. However, his account is private, and he currently has no posts on it.

Carlisle spoke on a "Loose Women" episode about her relationship with her husband, Morgan Mason. Talking about how they met, she revealed that Mason was strategically mean to her when they first met at a party. The pair saw each other soon after, and Carlisle moved in with Mason after one date.

According to Carlisle, the secret to keeping a marriage alive involves time apart from her partner. The singer broke through the audience's applause to expand on why she has a separate bedroom from Morgan's, saying:

"Everybody needs their own space and he needs his space and I need my space. And the nature of my work—I have to travel, he does too, so there's time apart, but I think that it's good not to be together 24/7."

Carlisle has experienced a rise to fame on two occasions. She emerged in the 1980s with her group, The Go-Go's, and after astounding success, Carlisle went solo and reached a new tier of stardom.

The group released seven music videos and several soundtracks, including that of "Spider-Man: Far from Home" with Tom Holland and Samuel L. Jackson, who has been married for more than forty years. The group experienced issues when tempers between Carlisle and her bandmate Jane Wiedlin flared, as the latter felt Carlisle was getting too much of the shine.

Other bandmates, like Gina Schock and Charlotte Caffer, experienced health issues. That, combined with the group's collective drug dependence problem, led to them losing out on much of their due earnings.
